Forum: texts Subject: Table Top Scribe hardware plans?

The page (https://archive.org/details/TableTopScribe) for the new Table Top Scribe scanning station references the DIYscanner site (http://www.diybookscanner.org)and says that the open hardware design was derived from there, but designs there seem to principally made from plywood while the Internet Archive design looks like it's aluminum.

Could someone post a link to the aluminum version of the design?

Is the IA product available now? If not, is there an expected date for availability?

Tom

Thanks for the quick reply Jeff. I'll keep an eye out "soon." :-)

How about a link to the hardware designs? Is that available now or will it not be available until general availability of the product. Since it's a derivative of the original CC-BY-SA design, I'm assuming that the design files will be licensed same.

ps. If anyone's interested in a plywood version instead of an aluminum version, you can find the plans at: http://www.diybookscanner.org/DIY%20Book%20Scanner%20920.zip

The web site also has parts lists, assembly manuals, etc.
